Tumblebooks

TES teachers and students are using the Tumblebooks online subscription in the classroom and at home.
Since October we have viewed 2,718 books.
Here are comments from teachers using Tumblebooks in the classroom:
“My 4th and 5th grade classes are thoroughly enjoying Tumblebooks. I have incorporated the program into our daily Reading Workshop, and am able to have three students at a time utilize the program, while others read in a guided group or independently. Along with this, I shared the information about Tumblebooks to parents via parent-teacher conferences and in a parent letter sent home before winter break. Some students shared that they have in fact accessed Tumblebooks for reading at home,” Fourth/Fifth Grade Classroom.
“I use it in my classroom almost daily within Reading centers, this allows for differentiated levels for reading and comprehension, elements of a story etc... It also offers helpful templates for book reports and of course some educational online games. Tumblebooks is a great reading motivator in my classroom. We love Tumblebooks.” Second Grade Classroom.
“I have used Tumblebooks for workboard, letting students have a chance to read a book and answer questions about what they read,” Second Grade Classroom.
